This weekend, we found a room of pure creation tucked into the heart of San Francisco. It was an afternoon of newness as artists, creative technologists, and design engineers gathered to make, dream, and build. We've always believed that Reve is at its best when it is in the hands of a community; our goal was simple: provide the tools, hold the space, and see where the collective imagination took us.

What followed was a vivid reminder of the infinite ways Reve can be inhabited. We saw everything from high-concept fashion to biological visualizations, from the reclamation of ancient myths to the surrealist hacking of industrial tools. Take a look through just a few of the projects below.

The Work

The prompt was open: use Reve to pull your visual world into focus. The results were as diverse as the creators themselves!

Jihyeon Jang imagined alternate realities for the TIAT space, where butterflies drift through the room as it transforms across different dimensions.

Sarah Zhang explored the alchemy of nature and archive, using a public collection of scientific illustrations to reimagine a surreal ecosystem.

Mengshu Zhang drew from his background in semiconductors, leaning into the surreal by reimagining a wafer carrier as an avant-garde piece of home decor.

Rayouf Alhumedhi brought the Saudi Arabian myth of the "Father of the Lantern" to life, generating visuals for a legendary figure that previously had none.

Shahnawaz Mogal designed a series of graphic cultural artifact posters honoring living traditions.

Sean Ho pushed our API to dig into his memories, writing a script to generate 100 mind-bending compositions from an abandoned digital collage project.

Priya Jain's work

Priya Jain

Adam Syed invented a new accessory, giving some teeth to a high-end streetwear aesthetic within a modern, speculative fashion context.

Prajanya Kannan bridged the gap between science and art by visualizing gene editing in bacteria, using Y2K light and DNA to represent how we shape the microscopic world.

Priya Jain developed a full brand identity for ocean-inspired sneakers, creating every product image for web and social from scratch.

What's Next

We're committed to supporting these pockets of creativity and will be popping up in more spaces very soon. Seeing the way this group synthesized memories, designed fashion concepts, and built brand imagery in real-time spurred us onwards! Apply to our creative partner program here.

Bring Reve to your world

We want to keep this momentum moving into new rooms. If you lead a creative community, run a studio, love organizing events, or hold a space for makers, we want to hear from you. We are looking for partners to host the next wave of Reve makeathons, bringing these tools directly into your own ecosystem.
